BEST Test: GLG's new BEST Test (Baby's Early Screening for Trisomies) screens for Down Syndrome, open body wall defects, placental disorders, and other chromosome abnormalities or disorders. [more]

Pediatric Genetic Evaluation: A pediatric genetic evaluation is indicated when an infant or child has a birth defect, unusual features, delayed growth, ambiguous genitalia, developmental disabilities, delayed puberty, or other problems suggestive of a genetic disorder. [more]

Genetic Counseling: Genetic counseling provides information to a patient affected with a genetic disorder or their family members. [more]

Genetic Amniocentesis: Amniocentesis is a safe and effective procedure for prenatal diagnosis of birth defects and genetic disorders. [more]

Chorionic Villi Sampling (CVS): CVS has come to be regarded as a safe and effective diagnostic procedure for the diagnosis of fetal chromosome abnormalities and single gene disorders early in the pregnancy. [more]

Genetic Ultrasound: A genetic ultrasound examination is a specialized ultrasound evaluation of a baby by a geneticist to rule out or expose specific birth defects or genetic disorders. [more]

Genetic Stillbirth Evaluation: The stillborn baby is examined in detail by a geneticist physician knowledgable in syndromes and disorders which can cause stillbirth. Identifying the cause of the fetal demise is important to help the family understand the event, resolve their feelings regarding the loss, and address future pregnancies. [more]

Teratogen Counseling: In the case of a possible teratogen exposure, GLG is well-equipped to evaluate the patient and provide information and appropriate follow-up. [more]

Triple Screen: The Triple Screen (maternal serum screening) measures three substances in the maternal serum, whose values correlate with the occurrence of birth defects, chromosome disorders, and other conditions. This test is now available as part of GLG's BEST Test. [more]

Paternity: Paternity testing is often used to determine familial relationships. [more]
